15 Natural Ways to Get Long and Shiny Hair

7. Amla, the queen’s secret: The queens during the olden ages depended on amla completely for a beautiful head of hair. You can stir in amla powder with water to make a fine paste. Apply this pack on your hair and scalp and then leave it on for a few minutes before washing. Amla is a natural conditioner and hair strengthening agent.
8. Olive and sesame oil: Out there in the markets today, you get cold pressed and extra virgin varieties of olive and sesame oil. Mix up both these oils and warm it up lightly before your massage your scalp with this blend. Leave it on for a few minutes and then wash it off with your regular shampoo. 9. Aloe and honey: In the olden days, there were myths that even a drop of honey on your hair might make your hair turn grey. Did you know this was a complete myth? Mix in a scoop of aloe gel with honey and dab this pack to your hair and scalp. Keep it on for a few minutes and then wash it off with luke warm water.

11. Onion juice: Chop one onion and grind it into a paste with the help of water. Filter out the onion juice and mix in a teaspoon of coconut oil. Rub this mixture to your scalp and wash it out with the regular shampoo for maximum hair growth and shine.
12. Apple cider vinegar: Like green tea water, apple cider vinegar can also be used to rinse your hair. This special vinegar will help restore the pH in your hair if you have exposed it to a lot of chemicals. Mix in this vinegar in equal parts to water and use it to rinse your hair.
13. Lemon juice: Again like cider vinegar and green tea, lemon water is a great ingredient to wash your hair with. Mix in a few teaspoons of lemon juice to your bathing water and rinse your hair with this water. Your hair will glow with shine and you can keep away from dandruff too.
14. Eating right: With all the stress over hair packs, now it’s time to talk about your diet. Rely a lot on fiber rich foods like vegetable and fruit salads and stay away from junk. Your hair will thank you with a shine!
