How to Get Thicker Hair Naturally
With today’s environmental pollutants on the increase, with an imbalance pH in water and increased salinity, losing hair has become the most often heard complaint. Natural triggers being the major reason for hair loss, you can always replace it with natural gifted ingredients to have a head of thick hair.
If you have been “awwwing” at people with beautiful thick hair, then remember, following these simple and easy to make at home tips will soon include you in the same “aww” group.
1. The egg tradition: If you have been wondering how eggs could contribute to a head full of thick hair, then you must know that your hair strands fall, grow, shine or fade because of the protein content in it. No matter if you have undergone a chemical treatment to straighten or perm your hair or for other hair problems, eggs can always show you the way out to healthy hair growth. Beat the yellow and white of an egg and apply it to your hair from the scalp till the hair length. Let it sit for half an hour before you wash it off with luke warm water and a mild shampoo.
2. Olive oil: The next magic that you can introduce to your hair is olive oil, especially the extra virgin variety. Massage your hair with warm olive oil and allow it to stay on for 30-45 minutes before you wash it off. Another option is to stir in some honey to your olive oil and massage this mixture on to your scalp and hair and leave it on for half an hour before washing it out.
3. The butter fruit: Avocado, the butter fruit is very well-known for casting its shine on your hair. Scoop out the flesh of the butter fruit, beat it up well to make it mushy and apply this mixture to your hair and scalp. Leave it on for half an hour before you wash it out and with regular use, you’ll find thick hair.
4. The onion rescue: If you have lost tufts of hair due to an illness or due to chemical exposure, onions could be your savior for sure. Chop one onion and grind it finely. Filter its juice and stir in a tablespoon of coconut oil. Rub this mixture onto your scalp and wear a shower cap to retain its sulphur content in hair. Wash it off after half an hour to find that your hair grows back very sooner.
5. Fenugreek frenzy: Soak a handful of fenugreek the previous night in water, grind it into a fine paste the next day morning and apply this pack to your scalp and hair. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes and then wash it off.
6. Indian gooseberry: Also known as amla, this is the major secret of Indian women who have adorable hair. Dry up a few gooseberries and grind them into a fine powder. Mix it with water and apply this paste to your hair. Leave it on for an hour before washing off with a mild shampoo.
7. Castor oil: The Indian equivalent of olive oil happens to be castor oil. Applying thick and pure castor oil to your hair, leaving it in for a few minutes and then washing it off will enhance hair growth in a minimal time span.
8. Apple cider vinegar: The latest talk of the town is apple cider vinegar which can bring an end to any beauty woo. Use this vinegar in the last cup of water to wash your hair. You can also opt to apply this vinegar to your scalp and hair and leaving it on for 10-15 minutes before washing it out.
9. Coconut milk: Another rich source of protein happens to be coconut milk. Extracting the milk of a fresh coconut and applying it to your hair and scalp as a mask, leaving it on for a while and then washing it off will give you shiny long hair in no time!
